Tell Me What To Do

Recently, someone said to me, “I won’t tell you what to do.” Actually, that is perfectly fine with me!

Dude, I see myself as part of the team. So. Bring me up to speed. I know that you've spent hours or even days or weeks or months on a project. This is your baby and while I'm the cool aunt, I want to rock your project.

So tell me about it. I love feedback and vocal direction is all part of it. This can include the mood associated with the voice, pronunciations, a scratch track, your BIG vision, the underlying story, whatever you want. I want my vocal performance to be the cherry on top.

Oh and if I get the old “just go for it and I’ll know it when I hear it”, that still counts as direction to me and is appreciated.
